LPG Injection takes care of 99% of the problems you guys talk about. Fuel is delivered in the right place, as a higher pressure vapour or liquid which then expands (cooling things down) and flowing better than normal.

There are about 4 systems I know of in Aus, but Im now waiting for LPGi to get to production before I buy a BF.

The only problem with LPi is that it can handle factory power outputs ... but nothing too much more than that .... seeing as people were asking about high performance/high boost applications ... LPi isn't quite up with the performance scene as yet ... but I don't think it will be too long before it will be able to cope with big HP applications.

SVI LPG Vapour injection is around the $3500 mark for the full installation .... I have heard of a fwe straight gas setup in limos in QLD ... I know of a dual fuel setup on a Territory.

I am not sure how well it handles high horsepower though ... have only seen them fitted to factory setup vehicles (without mods).

$3146 it cost for my ford, before it was a commercial product, so yeah, $3500 would be around the top end of the ball park.

Someone mentioned about big HP? Well down under we are a bit behind the 8ball with LPGI, but in Europe there is turbo car's running on it without too many issues.

Check this out. http://www.go-lpg.co.uk/Maserati.html

I wish i had the cash to play with it. My setup is good for 200 FWKW, so i have about 50 to play with before mods needed. For my Torana Turbo project i'm using a GRA 440 CFM TB and going to place an injector into the intake tract between the carby & turbo, and a afr meter will be fitted up, and if it senses things leaning out, it will run the injector to make the mixture right again. I could use something like that with an extra injector in my Ford, sorta like the VL turbo boys placing an extra injector or two which only work when running lean under boost.

Oh, it would be so much fun, but alas i don't have the cash to do it. What a pitty, would love to be the first LPGI Turbo car in AUS. :D

Cheers
