Ok everybody I have just picked up the complete top end from an EF Fairmont Ghia and the eecv with it. Haveing recently converted my auto to a manual and having the manual eec to use at the time. do I now use the one from the Ghia and mod it to run the auto or sell it or swap it for an XR6 manual.
The numbers on the eec are 4TBD which makes it a Tickford item.
Oh and did I mention that the head has this Big raised T on the front of it and a red rocker cover on it.
The another option is to convert my car back to an auto and use the news toys as is and then sell the complete manual conversion.
Does anybody happen to have an XR6 manual eec unit from an EF that they want to swap for an auto tickford one?

I Know I am just skitting.
I got the head and eec unit in payment for removing a virus from a computer at a wreckers here in Brisbane. It took me all of 30 mins to do LOL

Fit the head, sell the tickford ECU, and start searching for an XR6 manual ECU - as it will take quiet a while to find one! That's be what I'd do at least...
