G'day ive purchased a new alternator for my ef and dont know how to connect it. The old alternator didn't have the standard plug and was wired up using 3 wires where the plug should connect to. a red one and a yellow from the car and a blue one that connected to a separate pin on the alternator. Could anyone tell me which wires go to which pins. The pins are labelled A, S and I does anyone know what this means? Thanks

I've figured it out. A is the 12V sense line, S links back to another connection on the alternator and I is the indicator light on the dash.
