i was quoted $500 for a tuned length manifold, but it was no where near as good as the above example.
$700 is a good price

im using an EMS ecu on my eb[naturally aspirated], and having the experience and knowledge i have now, i would most definetly have used a "better" ecu, especially on a turbo set up.

Where abouts did you get the bends from for the manifold?

im currently looking into making my own manifold and i have been informed that 1 1/4" tubing is suitable for the 4.0 and 4.1 motors... any bigger and lag is increased...
you say you used 2" piping. to bring boost on earlier maybe you could make another manifold with smaller diameter tubing???
just passing on what i have been told.
cheers

I had used 2" as i had plenty of it in the workshop. The first manifold i made was from 1 1/2" and i found a better difference using the 2". The boost came on 500 revs earlier.
I got the bends from my local exhaust shop and made all the rest.

The best internals for the least money would be an ACL race series rebuild kit with the hypereutectic pistons oredered with a 20cc dish to drop compression down and a set of shotpeened factory rods. Factor in a Wolf 3D V4 and a tune by the boosted 4ltr experienced Joe at Crescent Motorsport
and you will safely see around 300rwkw and up to 15PSI.
