Hey just a quick question, my dads car has been back to ford 4 times to have this problem fixed and they are CLUELESS...
First thing in the morning when the car is cold, as soon as you start it it stalls unless you rev it abit. As I said ford have no clue what it is. Any ideas ?? |

I would start with cleaning ISC T/B or and MAF.
Also could it be temp sensor giving a dodgy reading whilst engine is cold?[/u]

Gotta concur with the above every time my old XR8 used to do it was an indication that the throttle body needed cleaning and then it would be great again. Make sure you dont use solvents if you use anything I used to use WD40 dampened on a soft rag and then a dry one after. make sure you carefully get your pinky into the hole that leads to idle solonoid. Good luck.

Yeah i would be looking at idle speed controller and throttle body (including passages to ISC as noted by paulhowes). May be sticking and not allowing sufficient air for idle.
Run a diagnostic, see if any error codes from coolant temp or air temp sensor come up.
