Can anyone tell me now that I have removed the old upper ball joints the easiest way to get the new ones back in. Do I need a press? Or will a piece of pipeover the whole thing and resting on the lip, then hitting in evenly do the trick?

hi yes u will need a press , as there interferance fit cheer

you can use a vice with large sockets

take the stub axles to Ford or Pedders and pay them $40 to press them in. Saves a million $$$ in hassles
