Just a quick question........hopefully.
I've got a 3.23 ED Lsd diff in really good nick and i want to put the centre into my EF fairmont (3.23 also). Can i just unbolt the centre and bolt it into my fairmont or is there something more tricky? Do i have to remove my axles to fit it? (I don't really know much about diffs) Any help would be appreciated Thanks in advance.

Wheels , Brakes and axles have to come off.
The pinion has to be set with a preload, requires someone who knows what they are doing and test equipment, best you take it to a diff specialist. Should cost around $600.00

if all you want to do is change the lsd. thats fine, just take the center out of the diff change the gears over and put it in the housing.
although i think you might have troubles changing every thing if you.ve never done it befor |
