Im new here, , so here goes...
I have recently bought a BA, , and wanted to keep and use the factory system, , , So I added the following... Audio Control EQ6 Dash mount processor, , ,turns the factory speaker line in to a decent 9volt output with Front, Rear and Sub preouts,.. Then 2 X 4 channel amps, , my old MTX 4ch for the 2 MTX Thunder 5000 12" subs, , and a new KX120.4 4x35rms to run the speakers.. Speakers are Infinity 6" splits in the front and Infinity 6x9 in rear ( under factory shelf ) Guys, , It sounds excellent........ The biggest help is the Audio control processor... It has sub out with variable sub level and other equalizer controls... Craig |

Audio control processor?? wot is this, i have never heard of this before, was it expensive??
and i can imagine it sounds awesome, the factory H/U is actually pretty decent in its power output, its the factory speakers and small wiring which limits its capabilities, although the equalizer setting r pretty junky too.. |

Audio Control make 2 excellent devices, , 1 is dash mount, the other would fit behind the BA dash...... the one behind the dash has optional sub level controller plug in, , but most of todays mono block amps come with sub level control....
check these links ! Craig ! ( p.s the dash mount is about $500 and the non dash is about $300 ) http://mobileaudiocontrol.com/product.a ... 1=5250&l2= |
