The powerchip is basically tuned on a simulator. They play around with some of the code and then look at a simulation of the EEC in action to determine the effect. If it looks good, the change stays. If it does nothing or makes it worse, they put it back and move on to the next variable.
As fo rthe effectivenss - make your own mind up. One thing is certain though. The powerchip plugs into the J3 port and therefore EEC WILL NOT LEARN AROUND IT!!!!

i got pacemaker 4499's, 2.5" system, cai, filter, wade 1636 cam
