If you have a drama with a Mechanical workshop, the first thing to do is return it to be fixed properly (at no charge). If you get no joy then report them to the MTA (motor traders association). They deal with complaints regarding their members and dont just sweep problems under the carpet. I had a complaint about an auto transmission "specialist" and ended up getting a written apology from said specialist after my complaint to the MTA. And by the way the problem wasnt with the work but rather the service. The pricks left ATF on the bonnet, steering wheel, pedals and hand brake and when I asked them to clean it off (nicely) the f**k that owned the place threw me a dirty rag and rubbed his eye's as if to say cry baby. A mate of mine used to refer up to 10 people a week to this bloke but has since started sending them elsewhere so he's f**k himself in the long run.

He is second in charge and he has to put up with a**hole all day long coming in and demanding things to be fixed at that very second, i see what your saying as a load of S**T, as if they would bash you fool they would get charged.

They have LPGI on the market already have been in extensive testing over the last 9 months!!

I read that and it makes things look worse for the place, the fact there is ppl comming in all day long demanding things fixed. A normal customer doesn't walk into a place and " demand " things fixed, but a previous cust that has issues with work done may very well do that.

I don't know why you put in about LPGI, what does it have to do with anything? LPGI, wow 9 mths is called extensive testing? I've had an LPG Injection setup on my ford for over 15mths now, done more than 40k kms on it. Sure it wasn't a commercial product at the time, but there had already been more than 12mths " extensive testing " done by that time with little issues. A few taxi's with upto 500k kms on the Injection. Not to mention the stuff is years old in Europe already, where most aussie LPGI hardware comes from.

Cheers

podes,

Nothing against you, but it sounds more like " extensive tuning ". I know my fords initial tune was about 5 hrs of dyno time, but only b/c parnell had done a few BA's & Au's and had a base tune to work with. It's had 2 more almost 2 hr sessions to get better. It's a tad rich now, as i've replaced a failing o2 sensor. Needs a retune, but don't have the time to get it done atm.

Your normal LPG setup doing 450's, what size tank are you running? Avg Lt/100? The 500k kms i was refering to was 500,000 kms of testing.

I can manage between 400 - 500 kms around town in my LPGI setup, 60ltrs and i've not had the ecu tuned for about 18 - 20k kms, its also time for filters, oil, plugs and a new dizzy module as well. I've got a heavy foot and drive atleast 1hr a day in medium to heavy traffic.

Cheers

Yeah, that's parnell. Their system is called a SVI Lpg Injection system, as it's sequential, not like some which use batch injection.
