Ive got an EAII auto...

my auto wont hold gears past 2500rpm on full throttle......but cant find out why...are the mechanicals of the box stuffed? or is it something to do with the sensors/computer?..

It will hold all the way to 5000rpm if I put the lever in "1" or "2" etc...and goes bloddy good for an old s**t ea!!

so I thought the box itself seems ok..

im wondering if the trans uses the gearposition switch to tell the computer to hold gear or is the lever moving something in the internals of the box and stopping it changing gears..........guess what im trying to ask is the auto fully fully electronic or is semi electronic?

guess ill just disconect the computer tomorrow and see what happens...
