Hey guys, wanting to replace the oil pressure sender on my 5.0L , but can't seem to get it off, ford have told me they don't have a special tool either...does anyone know???

Use a large spanner/socket. IIRC its a 1 inch or a 1 1/16th inch.
You can get generic oil pressure sender removal sockets at repco. Its a baugger of a job, yes.

if is the same size as the I6 then it is a 1-1/4" deep socket!

or.......... take of the air cond- power steering setup, and its easy to get , even with a shifter

if its a light type i just used a big witworth socket that i found first go who hoo if its a guage type i think it was just a open end spanner and a s**t load of patiance turn it 2mm then flip the spanner so it fits ect if you catch my drift i just changed the one on my eb over took about 45mins on the hoist and needed beer after it lol, pull the oil filter off makes it heaps easier

Its probably sealed with loctite thats why its so hard to get off...just need to get in there with some elbow grease

They normally have a tapered thread so the more they go in the tighter they get so thats probarbly why its so hard to remove.
