Either body colour. Although I'm no fan of that colour. So IMO you're left with the classics (black pearl or a deep red) or something contrasting (yellow maybe).
But IANAAFT (I Am Not An Artsy f@rt Type)

Lol at the acronym.
When I get my skirts s[rayed I intend on asking the guys for a bit extra paint to use as touch up paint. I dont know exactly the type of paint on the car (acrilyic, enamel, whatver), but could this be transferred into the engine bay with the high temps and s**t? |

During my investigations, acrylic won't last in an engine bay, enamel will (but can't be made in my colour), so I was left with 2-pac. Which now after a week of driving hasn't shown any signs of letting go.

So 2PAC paint will handle to high temps?

That's what I've been told, and it's held up for the week it's been on. Just not for extractors.

extractors (or stock headers) get too hot for the majority of paints.

On the compressor housing it probably would.
Doubt 2pak would last long on the turbine

What about basic bits?
Intake snorkel, box, intake pipes, rocker cover, coolant bottle (?), thermostat housing? |

Arcrylic is just plastic. The auto paint shop guy (Chris) said he wouldn't recommend it for engine bay work.
Which is why I initially was going to go for enamel, but was told later on that my colour can't be made in enamel, which probaly explains why I've never been able to find it in a touch-up pen. FWIW don't worry about hte expense, there's less than $5 per can difference between acrlyic, enamel, and 2-pac (although you have to by a clearcoat with the 2-pac, so it is slightly more expensive overall)
