Okay,
I got a quick question about fuel economy. I got the 3.9 CFI EA. Now i've taken note of my fuel economy over the last 3 fill-ups using the odometer. At average, $1.25/L, I spend about $70 dollars and manage to get 310 km's off that. So that's 58L/310km = 18.7L/100 km's. I drive mainly around outer suburbs, and barely floor it. I'm asking if this is what i should expect for this car. Thanks

Seems a slight bit excessive than the average.
Do u have a lot of excess weight in the car at all? When was your last service? Alot of things can affect fuel economy cheers |

Hmm, not really that much weight, however it could use a service and tune-up maybe. Does anyone know if the MPFI would be more fuel efficient.

on next service, disconnect the battery. don't take the mechanics word for it, they never do. not saying they're all bad. just insurance, remember its business.

Ok, its getting serviced and tuned this friday, hopefully that makes a difference. Has anyone here themselves performed the cfi - mpfi conversion? I have a set of instructions on how to do it but don't have the balls to do it myself, not yet anyway.
