Hey guys, and gals
My 95 EF Auto is having problems starting sometimes. I notice it more when its cold, its only done it 3 times, but 2 of those times were this morning, im worried its getting worse Its almost due for its 220,000 service, the coil pack is about 4 months old Im just wondering what i should be checking? Spark plugs, fuel filter, injectors i think are pretty screwed, but would any of these actualy prevent the car from starting? Once going it runs faultlessly, perfectly you might say Today, the first time it was the second attempt when it started, the next time it took 3 rounds of cranking before it fired Any help is appreciated Thanks

Do the service yourself?
Get some penrith hpr30+oil filter, ba xr6t plugs (or ef xr6 plugs), queensland ignition leads, clean out your t/b with carby cleaner etc etc etc.. thats only if ur that worried, check ur plugs maybe they're fowling up? otherwise if your injectors are blocked obviously yeah lol |

I had trouble starting my EA for a long time and it kept getting worse over months until it just wouldn't start. I thought i needed to change the starter motor. The auto-electrician came over and he found the actual cables that went to the battery were not giving a strong connection, (frayed/corroded etc) even though the wires themseles looked fine from the outside.
