Noticed the other day that my gas converter has started to whine when the car is started cold.
Its not freezing or anything just whines until it is warm Does anyone know what this means?? |

i doubt it bew the convertor
as the convertos has no rotating mass to whine...

Yeah I have the same thing. It maybe a diaphram in the mixer? Just a guess though??????

It is the noise the vacuum modulation of the diaphram makes, it does it when cold I assume because the diaphram is less flexible when cold. It is nothing to worry about if it goes away when warmed up.
