gday guys just wandering if any of you guys have put a EB onwards windsor into a xf,i know it can be a bit of a pain in the a** but my mate has just put one in his ZL relatively easily and it flys with stock 2.92 diff and auto.he was pulling mid 14s with only extractors and 2.5".im thinking of doing the same to my xf as it seems relativeyly cheap and easy,.whats your thoughts thanks.

it would be very hard to get a roadworthy as XF's diddnt come out with V8's. however i think i have seen a few in mags, i think i even saw a turbo one in an old street machine mag once.

You must keep all emmissions gear to go with the motor.

youd probably need an engineers cert, but it wont be a biggie since the XD (which XF is based on) was designed for a V8 of similar origins.

as far as i know - i *think* if it has ADR28 stamped on it, it wont need engineers cert... (coz im pretty sure - not 100$ tho) thats the adr for the v8s...

can be done - seen plenty of em - its just a b**ch to change the spark plugs!

piss easy fit, yes u do need engeneers report, & will pass no probs, just use all emmission gear & cat etc. it fits in better than the clevo, cause the windsor misses the heater hoses on the fire wall, the clevo dont, from memory u can even usse the v8 engine mounts, gearbox crossmember needs 2 be moved just a tad, but it fits nice, have fun :P
