8-) Hi, does anybody know where to get the small gear that always fails on XD-XE sports clusters, and stops odometer and trip meter from operating?? i havnt been able to locate a supplier, and its such an easy job to replace them.
Thanks. 8-)

think you just need to get a new speedo from a wrecker then pull the gear out

problem is with the gears that the lube that comes out of the factory with on them drys up and in the heat (now summers coming) makes the gears melt.

I've seen many of this cases before ... Maybe sure that when you replcae the gear you use an electrical lube from Jaycar etc .

or possibly try and find a steel gear replacement - there must be some place on the internet that sells em, for say remote control vehicles
