Not a thread about how to install.....just wondering if anyone has put on of these in their EF/EL, wanted to know bout the brackets...can u use the stok ones, or do u need to buy some. Im puttin it in a friends car this w/e. I managed to use the stok ones with my sony.....

The mounting screw holes on sides are pretty standard these days but with my JVC head i had to drill and counter sink new holes on the factory EL brackets. Wasnt all that hard and the brackets can still be used on the factory HU.

my pioneer 8650 matched up to the factory holes in my EF. nice and easy :)
