Hey guys

I got a mate that suffering bad so i though id ask around and see if i could find a solution for his problem

Well his problem is that
When he drive around on fuel it runs but when it accelerates it stalls if you push to hard

but then he on LPG
It dosn't idel properly the motor just shakes like the there was no engine mounts and it just sitting there

Well my thoughts were for the fuel problem is i looked and it got a fuel cut off solnoide after fuel pump but before carby which i was thinking the fuel pump stuffed cause it dosen't have a flow back line on the pump so it just keep pushing fuel and just wears it that causes the pump to be stuffed...
Is that possable?

When u accelerate it completly stuffed when on gas no joking i drove my mums Lancer CA beside it and draged the car a the little 1.6 lance left it for dead

Whats wrong!!!!

the XD running a

250 X-flow
Webber Single barrel carby
Stock everythign besides the
C4 gearbox

(My car got C6 tran same as his and it aint slugish like his)

No joking it took over 800m to reach 120km
that how bad it is

Hope you guys can help
Thx Jason

I think it's missing a 5.8litre V8 :D

Nah I'd try maybe putting a little petrol in the carby and see if it run better then, you could rule out a fuel supply problem, maybe some carby cleaner :?:

Yer check the gas flow screw on the pipe from the converter

The only thing thou (may need someone to confirm this) is that if it is not letting in enough gas it wont produce power IE - you will get to say 80 and it will sit around there

I reckon one of the fuel shutoff solenoids (gas or petrol) is stuffed and the car is trying to run on both fuels and flooding itself
