Hi Everyone,
I recently had my Head recently crack on me for the sencond time in 18 months:roll: and am just wondering if ianyone knew off anywhere i can get another head made out off another type off matieral or something i can do. I've been told that this is a fault in the EF's

Not a common fault. Mainly head gaskets are the common fault. Maybe if your head gasket went and coolant was getting into an area it shouldnt that might of been what caused the crack.

When putting the new head on get an AU head gaskit kit and that might solve your problem. AUs have metal head gasket. They are a direct swap too.

the cracking will be a result of a problem. it wont be the problem it self.
when you take into account you have done 2 in such a small time frame.

I would hazard a guess it is your cooling system.

get another complete motor with low k's block may have rusted blocking water jackets up

gutted as in the centre removed id believe. I cracked two heads in ten weeks, but havent cracked one in over a year.
