hey guys just lookin at rebuilding a i6 for my ea, just wondering what to mix n match out of the eb to au i6 to make one tough one, eg what head , and what block etc ,
i have an el xr6 cam, to put in it but yeah any advice on what mixtures to go for will b great! |

Just get an au vct bog stock. Should go well in an ea shell. Put some pics up of your ba interier you have in it too.

from my understanding this is what ive gathered:
Stongest Block - ED Most Flowing Head - EF Strongest Crank - AU Rods - ED this may not be nessecarily true but from what ive read and heard these are the go. anybody has any corrections please put them forward

Bugger the vct engine. itll be a bastard to set up then when you do you have fewer choices for aftermarket cams.
I thought all the blocks eb->el were the same. the best flowing e-series head is the eb xr6 crank strenght isnt really an issue (has anyone broken a i6 crank?). EF/EL have more counterweights than others. Best rod/piston combo would be the AUs due to the extra rod length.
