got bought my xr6 and boy oh bopy doe sit go thru the fuel ive gone thru half a tank of prieum (35L) and ive done 130kms. tahst shockin is there a prob with the car or is taht normal for a worked xr6, all i know taht i have is full eaxaaust system, k&n filter, cold air induction, and i think there is cam and chip

ive got similair mods.. i get around 10-14 per hundred... slight heavy foot too! are you sure 35 litres in 130kms?? thats like 30 litres per hundred!! what the!!??

thats wrong.. I got an ALTED cam in mine, shes quick beasty and lean on fuel.. about 500 out of a tank in peak traffic and 900+ on the highway..

I get around 500km per tank out of mine too.. Try filling it up and see how many kms you get.. and yeah, ease up on the right foot! lol

thast what i did i got 240km oan full tank (1st tank) but as u do u was thrashin her.

2nd talk filled up on thurs done 130 and about half a tank left tank left its going for a full tune under warrenty id say its running rich.

id be happy with 400 a tank

is it possibl eto work a ef xr6 taht much and havea heavy foot that it would use taht ammount (eg. i might have LARGE cam and a chip in) or does there ahve to be soming wring with it.

how can i telkl if there is chip were is it located

Damn! I have been giving my car a bit of a hard time this tank, and i've got about 1/4 tank left and done about 490km.
Mind you my car isn't an XR6, just a Futura with a wee exhaust mod.

i get roughly 600km to a tank from my futura just cruising it and between 500 - 550 playing with it.

The chip should be attached to the computer behind the passanger side kick panel
