try it in the morning, i'd bet you've got water in something electrical that doesnt enjoy getting wet

Sounds like you got the dizzy wet. or the coil.
Try not to point Hi pressure water at anything that has wires. and use a compressor to blow out excess water from where the sparks are. |

well id say if you drive it, it will heat up and therefore not be a prob after a while. Engins are meant to be tough, and the electrics are made with the idea in mind that they will get wet sometimes, i would drive it n not worry about it.

happened to me too about 2 months ago... i left it for 3 days and still wouldnt even start... i ended up replacing the coil.. now if i wash my engine i go for a run and let the engine warm up a bit so any water will evaporate quicker...

Usually the coil cracks where the 2 steel plates bolt to it, water can get in and play havock, thats what happened to mine so i modified the brackets to make the coil sit verticel instead of horizontal, taking the stress off the coil. A new coil for my el 6cyl cost $50 trade. the same coil is used in VT commowhores!

I had a similar problem with mine, it turned out that the timing was way out from the time i bought it. Once it was adjusted it hasn't played up at all...
