Got a bloke advertising some extractors and he says in the add... "to fit a ford falcon 6 cylinder engine from about 1976 to 1990 models and may also suite some other models but am not 100% sure" They should be fine gettin into an ed fairmont yeh? having similar engine setup to cars of leading upto 1990? What you all reckon? $150 is what he wants to by the way, that a good price?

depends how old they are i rekon... if they are realy old lookn and rusty there is no point... i rekn put the $150 towards a set of pacemakers or sumthing along those lines... At least then u can be certin they will fit and they will work a hell of a lot better..

I don't think they'll fit, and if it';s the ones in your picture they look in good condition and would of been worth it for that price - in my opinion. Probably not as good as the Pacemakers, but at half the price, you couldn't expect that!

I would personally just keep on saving until you have enough $$$ to get a new set of Pacemakers or something similar.

thing is, is it any improvement over what he's already got? will it live up to what performance he wants?

Well, if he's currently using the stock manifold, then yeah, I'm sure he'll get an improvement. And if your only spending $150.00, you can't expect too much. If he wants the best possiable, he'll need to go spend a grand for JMM's HPC coated race headers! It all comes down to you get what you pay. And personally, if he saves $300.00 on the extracotrs, he can get a Wade Stage 2 cam aswell. I'd rather the cam and simple extractors than just the Pacies. But everyones in a different situation really.

There doesn't appear to be a hole for the HEGO Sensor. Chances are their off an early X series. I suggest the same as everone else save your money and get some new ones that are made for your car.

well in my experience the more you pay does not mean the product is better,,for example you could pay 16000 for a gli model or 20000 for a ghia model and thet'll both have the same problems,,go with what you can afford,,brand does not mean much.
