yes i agree with happy .just do up the motor and once it is done its done and it will not have to come out again.

while the engine is out i would be replacing every visible welch plug too as it is much easier to get to some of these with the manifolds off. and by looking at the outside you can't see if they are corroded on the inside.

hmmm - the more i think about it, the more i think i'll redo the engine whilst its out. am going to purchase a unichip, so aim to upgrade it a bit - heres the thoughts:
-new cam - alted/surecam - ~stage 3/4 -heavier springs (crow) -ported & polished head -ACL race gasket/bolts etc -re-do all the bolts/plugs add that to the intake/exhaust mods, and i'll be *hoping* to get around the 150-160rwkw mark from that all said & done! should be something nice & fresh to drop back into the engine bay when its all finished off
