my injectors are making really loud clicking noises and the idle isnt as smooth as it used to be fuel consumtion is ok. i had the mechanic say that the injectors may need replaceing so i was wondering what are some good injectors dont have a computer dont plan on getting one well not for a while.can i get different injectors that will work fine off a normal ecu. or do i just go for the standed injectors

Try having them professionally cleaned first.

Any ideas on what that costs? Just wondering as you can prolly pick up new exchange injectors for around the $180.00 mark for the set, so if getting your old ones cleaned costs over say $100.00, you might be better off getting the new ones that are garenteed to work rather than gambling on the solution being a clean job. But if cleaning them is cheap why not try it first! |

But if cleaning them is cheap why not try it first! For $180 exchange injectors are going to be reconditioned used ones. Cleaning cost around $20each. AFAIK new injectors are far more than $30ea

Tell them u want a "Off-Car Injector Clean".
The on-car injector cleans are crap, off-car is way better especally if u get a good guy that will put it in the cleaner for 40minutes and clean them up nicely. Cheers
