I have just swapped clusters as per the Technical sheet , from Mid range to high range making the adjustments required.
It is an 89 EA S Pac 6cyl auto
Cluster is of 89 NA Fairlane 6cyl auto

I have now encountered 3 Problems
1st.... LED readout does not work.
2nd... Fuel gauge doesnt work.
3rd... The Data sheet does not cater for a plain yellow wire on the EA wiring, thus this wire does not have a home.

Anyone have any ideas..?

thanks...

he says its for a 89 EA S pack. You think you have problems now, just wait until you have to wire up the door ajar sensors!

The door ajar sensors are the easy bit...... a wrecker and the appropriate model .... simply remove the existing wiring from the wreck.

Not what I have heard. Apparently you have to install a high series (green) BEM as well.

door wiring off an existing na fairlane worked well with no modifications.... main concern is the 3 probs listed...
