Dont use pressure cleaners on engines. The water can force itself (taking dirt with it) behind seals, which then rub like sandpaper, and you can destroy crankshafts etc. better off degreasing by hand and using low pressure water.

I use degreaser and rinse it with low pressure, then use a blower/vac to get rid of excess water & wipe dry with a rag.

Get a coke bottle and put small hole in lid. Put some Turps in it and use it as a squeeze bottle to soak to engine, brush in for thick sludge. leave for minute or so and hose off. Turps mixes with oil but not water so it mixes and then when you hose it blows away the turps which takes the oil with it. It all dries to a dusty natural look making it look like it was never cleaned. (an old shonky trick). Dont try this with an extremely hot engine. $2 for a bottle that can be used over.
