my car (EB 5L) is at the diff shop gettin a new crown wheel & pinion put in coz my 4.10 snapped a few teeth...its getin a 3.45 put in instead coz i had to wait to long to get a 3.7 or a 3.9.....will this effect my 1/4 mile times by much (although i will get much better fuel economy when driving normally)

yeh you'l notice the initial pickup wont be so good anymore.

im running 4.11s in my manual el and love it.. gotta change em aswell coz they're worn, but am keepin the same ratio. (ive got a tall overdrive so its still cool for cruisin)

Your fuel economy should actually improve and espescially more so round town....doubt tho when it comes to the $$$ factor when u filll up that it would be any notable difference tho

what quarter times did you get with the 4.11??
i have a 3.23 at the moment and i have a 3.91 waiting to go in
my car is a pig off the line and struggles to chirp tyes on a flat road
hopefully with the 3.91 it will take off harder

my best time was 14.8 @ 92.6mph with the 4.11's...i wanted to go the 3.7's coz i reckon the 4.11's were overkill, restricting my midrange power as it didnt really pull in 2nd or 3rd......now theres good midrange power with the 3.45 so hopefully i wont gain too much time down the strip...ill probly swap them to 3.7's in a few months...
