Hi all,
I was wonder if any of you know if its possible to bridge a h/u outputs? Reason for asking is i would like to look into installing a lil 5-8'' sub and drive it off the rear out of the h/u as the car only has front speakers. i understand that the head unit only has ~15Wrms per channel. I would also install a low pass filter to cut the high freq out. Just a thought Thanks LN

some pioneer decks are made to but they put out like 50w RMS. you can't do it to most decks as it will make each channel run at 2-Ohms which a normal deck is not designed to do.

50wrms total.... not per channel
dont bother trying to bridge a HU, the chances of blowing the inbuilt amp are too high

you cant bridge a hu. You will blow the onboard amp if you do.
