Yesterday I bought a boss amp off a mate (pulled it out of his car was working fine)

When i installed it in my car (went straight in as wiring was professionally installed) It worked fine. When I adjusted the gain a little it clipped and cut out (thermal overload)

Then I noticed smoke coming out of on of my good kenwood 6 x 9s

SO i disconnected that speaker and tried again. It then sounded strange and decided to disconnect it when i noticed smoke coming out of the amp.

I dunno what i did wrong as im pretty picky with stereo installs

Any ideas on what wrong with the amp at all? Im pretty mad that it smoked one of my kenwoods
