Will 6" speakers fit into the front doors of my ea, i have never tried and i know that they fitted into my eb when i had that, but theese grills in the door trims are smaller, im just wondering if the hole underneith is too ?

no they wont fit, the ea doors have 4" speakers, they changed to 6" in the eb series

Assuming they are the same a series 1 EB, which i'm certain they are, yes they will fit....

Pull off the door trims and see where the old 4" speakers are...

If you pull out the old speakers, they will be in a square shaped plastic cup type deal, that is pop rivetted in place....

Drill out the rivets, careful doing this because you don't want to go all the way through and get your door skins, and pull out the plastic cup....

The hole left from the cup will be big enough to fit a 6" speaker, just check that the magnet won't foul the glass....

I have done this and have fitted 6.5" splits in my EB...

yea i got 6.5" splits in my eb aswell, but i still think the ea is 4" only :S altho dont take my word for it cos i dont own one, just tryin 2 memba what we did 2 my mates one ...
