ive noticed im goin through a fair bit of ccolant lately, and a clsoe inspesction of all the hoses etc proved they werent the problem...theres coolant sprayed all over the bottom of the firewall, and baked onto my exhaust & tranny....all the core plugs on the sides are alright, but im thinking that one of the rear core plugs may have shat itself....does any one have pics of the rear of a 302 out of the car so i can see wat im lookin for....

actually another possibility could be the headgasket as there seems to be a coolant seeping between the head & the block....wat symptoms should the car have if the head gasket IS gone...i havnt noticed a loss of power or anything like that....

I don't have any pictures, but I had the same problem just recently, where coolant sprayed on the firewall and bellhousing, rocker cover etc. I found that my heater control valve had detiorated and one of the hoses wasnt sealing. It sits just in front of the firewall on the passeger side close to the rocker cover, and has four hoses running into it.
