hey people,,hows ya doin??

just how bad can the oil sensor in a ea leak,,i mean can it leak enough oil that it drips off the k frame?

just curious cause i just replaced mine and all oil leaks have seemed to of stopped..and i thought it was the sump gasket..

i totaly degreased the engine after i replaced it and after a week theres still no oil leaks..and i never thought it could be the oil sensor

cheers

Had an oil sender in a XE fail once, oil didn't leak, it gushed out! Around 4 litres of oil in 10ks

So yes when they fail the can fail in a big way.

I dropped a spanner on mine while doing up the intake manifold after replacing head gasket
About a week later it pumped out the whole sump in a few k's
