lol - well, car isn't starting anymore!

after changing the body loom 2 nights ago, turned it on & all worked - however, tonight after fitting the rest of the interior, its a no-go! turns right onto acc etc - cluster all powers up, everything kicks in, but it won't turn over - the (!) icon comes up - is this a smartlock issue?

the alarm that was in the car we removed completly - however there is one ignition wire that needs to be resoldered - perhaps this may have come loose & causing the lack of go? lol

me not know! what i do know is, it was starting, but isn't - with no changes having been made in the meantime. perhaps i need to train a smartlock remote for it, as the battery has been disconnected & there are currently no remotes trained to the car?

thoughts please! greg & benn - you will both recieve SMS's very soon! :P

remotes shouldn't matter, as long as the key is good. Well, if it says that, then it could be smartlock, or the car in gear (it thinks so anyway), and thats it I think.

Try doing the whole key learn procedure. Put the key in, and turn the car on reds, and leave it... after 30 mins try it. If it starts, Smartlock needed to learn, if not then you need to check your wiring.

Whats this wire you talk about?

Cheers

ive had the pleasure of seeing a motor being cut out of a commo that hit the wall at the drags ;)

watching a guy cut with an oxy in a singlet, boardies and thongs was a funny sight in the least ;)
