I'm pretty certain all ELs had power steer coolers. Mine and Dan's do.

a friend of mine used to have an option 20 ef xr8 and that had no rev limiter. it used to rev all the way past the 6000 rpm tacho display on the dash

Probably a bit off topic here but I thought I would ask. My ute has no speed limiter (all utes up to AUIII had speed limiters @ 180km/h because of the extra suspension travel and the loads imposed on the driveshaft etc) and it also has no rev limiter. Drove along a long stretch of road and got it to 190 before chickening out, and once I had the auto in 1st and forgot, tacho went past 6000....thats with 8 cyls!! Is this normal or has some wank played with my car?

U could have a police computer, the big letters on the computer on mine read 6DHC, thats OPT20.
