i got an NU fairlane 5.0 and its drinking way too much and im not sure why it is but i'm getting 120k's on lpg and only 250k's on ultimate/optimax.
the engine has no mods and is still running the stock exaust too. it also has a rough idle on gas. Any ideas why it could be running so rich? thanks! |

Seeing it seems to be running rich on both lpg and petrol, it narrows it down to general engine tune (timing, plugs, leads, air filter) and maybe oxygen sensor if your LPG system has O2 feedback. LPG can be quite hard on plugs and leads so I would start with these along with base timing and see how it goes.

I'd be having a good look at the air flow meter and the connections to it.

That would have an effect on fuel for sure but not LPG. |

Unless your ECU was in a confused state by the reading and was trying to compensate with other engine management issues, but if you check everything over you can at least eliminate any obscure possibility. |

Yeah its worth checking, it could be puting the EEC into limp home mode which locks timing therefore having an effect on both petrol and LPG. |

Also check that there are no vacuum leaks on the manifold side of the air flow meter.
