That's the single worst problem with the TV's in an EF-EL, is the lump of plastic above the DIN. Apart from getting my mate who works at a plastics company to make a sleeve kinda thing, look at the new Kenwood Screens, cause they come out heaps further than every other screen i've seen. So you should be able to st it back where a normal deck would go.

yeh, i can get mine to sit "out" another inch, but its still not enough to make it perfect.
