oh ok well u dont really have to bother with the stage 4 motor the standard ECU will do fine.

But otherwise save for the WOLF 3d Plus Ver 4 when u go supercharged....i think Mark from ITS does em fitted and tuned for $2500

Im a fan of the 8860 (havnt used one though). Ive found that quite a few of the local tuners have experience with the EMS stuff on fords from tuning the saloon cars (they run the 8860's little brother).

If you are going to be playing around with the tune yourself, download the software for each, read the docs and see which one your most comfortable with. Both will have similar end results, you might find one is easier to use though.

The 8860's windband controller might come in handy if your going forced induction down the track.

Its all about preference most do the job fine...the wolf is just really good if u plan to tune yourself on the fly with a laptop or the external separate boost controller.

Joe at CMS prefers the EMS 8860 on his turbo setups that arent hugely extreme and i think there done for some where round the 1600 mark i think cant remeber from previous discussios with joe hes a top dude to...highly recommened him.

You just need to consider the extreme our gonna end up running what sorta components how much boost so many factors ad how much against the intended setup you wanna spend on engine management
