According to the converter on my ps2, Between voltages of 100 and 240V, it requires 1.5Amps. Using part of ohms law, Watts = Volts * Amps we can determine how many watts the ps2 consumes

Watts = Volts * Amps

Therefore
Watts = 240 * 1.5
Watts = 360W

So 360 Watts is required to run it. I think....

it would but it would run warmer than a 360w one...

Well i've run a full blown PC with 2 hard drives, DVD rom and an AMD athlon from a 300w inverter and it had no troubles at all.... so i think 300 would be fine for a ps2...

And my calculation above were for if it needed 1.5 amps at 240 volts. so they may not be terribly accurate! Id be going with the adapter but.
