3 f**k water pumps in 3 f**k months, first one went cause of the little rubber seal, the second one went cause of the little rubber seal, and today, 26 hours after the second one was replaced, the third one f**k itself too, it would seem when the fan was taken off, the bolt and insides were bent, and at 4-5000rpm a vibrating fan aint good, this one is now split into 2 all the way accross the pump, so im going to get a new one, again, or maybe ill just set fire to the car and claim insurance...

Shoulda bought genuine...

Use Powermax waterpumps from Japan never had a problem with them.
Use Permatex gasket seal ( brown gooey liquid in small bottle) on all three sections of pump faces and gaskets, use a small artists paint brush.
Never had a failure yet.

Now your cluth fan has completely s**t itself, its time to convert to electric thermo fans. EF-EL fans go straight in. Only mod you will need is to wire up a thermatic switch too run them. Once you've done that future water pumps will be safe.

I agree with madmax, i'd get a new water pump (i also used powermax in my old esp).
Then fit thermos' and you shouldn't have a problem.
I'd also be taking the water pump back for a refund.
