is there a gap between your scoop and your top lid?
and if there is it would benifit for you to get some sticky foam and stick it to the lid so when you put the bonnet down its seals and no hot air from the engine can enter into the air box. i think you will find more of a incress this way. also have you drilled holds for the water when it rains to drain away at the bottem of the box? and another thing it might be good to place the filter as far back as you can so rain doesnt saturait the filter and then it will stop air from entering you intake. just some tips , but realy that looks great. Yeah there is still the usual gap between the lid and bonnet. I am going to be putting some door seal around it to seal it off from the engine. But at the moment I don't really think that too much hot air from the engine is being drawn in when I'm driving.

Damn you are picky BKNRBR!!! lol
I can't really adjust the position of the pod anymore than where it is. It just sits in a good spot for air flow. My concern is it getting soaked with rain and I am looking at a way around this with a another filter (more mesh really) that will divert the water when it is parked. But the gap helps in stopping the water from falling straight down on the pod when driving. Plus I have drain holes in the bottom already |

Also I have to save some more money before I finally replace the connecting hose with a smooth silicon one now that I have it positioned better now.

what i was thinking of doing for my car was to actualy just make a sheild around the pod were the water is directly hitting it.
so maybe u could try that . or my other idea was to put a pip in the box conected to the hole that way cool air will rush in but be directed to the bodem of the box, the pod will still suck it . |

Hey well done was looking at that scoop the other day. Was wondering why that scoop was there. Nice.
