just bought meself a xmas present and its a bel radar rx 65

pretty flashy lil thingy.

has anyboby else got 1?

atm moment ive got it plugged in and set to highway.

anyone with any experience got any tips on wot to do to get the best outta this radar?

and wot the hell i s 'x band' and wot does it mean.

i think x band is cameras!

X-Band used to be used to open doors, not in use anymore, here anyway, disable it. K band is hand held, or in car radar,and also opens doors, a real piss off in the city, Ka band is multanovas, and laser is obviously laser, which if used properly by the coppers, you wont pick up, and will get done, i have the 995 vector, very close to the 65, and have done a few trials , with the coppers, and without them.

the best mode to set it on is autoscan! x band is not used in australia so u can turn it off. just read your manual it tells u every thing.
