hey all... i've just finished changin the head gasket on the EL and its all back together... fired it upand its runnin real rough... really lumpy and sounds like a tractor... i do remember it doin the same thing for a while before i took the car off the road but i thought it would be gone now with the new gasket in it... any ideas why???
btw the engine is all stock... just a 2 1/2" redback system (cat back) |

have you checked things like the plugs/leads in the right order? exhaust manifold tight? does it sound like a tractor because of an exhaust leak?

Yee sounds like either exhaust leak or or plugs/leads order wrong or maybe missing a cylinder...
recheck all your leads make sure of order and all are connected fully. |
