Hi Guys
Noticed some oil leaking from the back of the transmission (near the axel) and oil marks on the floor. Now as soon as the car hits 60 the vibs start and keep coming. If im doing 100 it vibs and then when i take my foot of the throttle it goes away sometimes and if it does and i keep to that speed it does not vibrate. This is really annoyin me coz i got the transmission serviced bout a month ago. Any ideas!!!!!!!!!!

Adzactly my problem also only mine seems to do it when ever u drive normal.. it dosent vibrate if you are a grandma driver. I put mine up on stands a little while ago and the front uni joint (gearbox side) of the tailshaft is loose as a nanna's... umm yeah u know. Thats gotta be it mate get ya uni joint looked at.

The car hasnt been lowered has it? Lowering the car changes the uni angles and can cause excessive wear/vibration. But i'd say it is the uni's

Mine has been for over a year n a half now. I never thought of that.

Had mine in the shop today and they found that my slip yoke needed replacing and my extended case bush and bearing are shocking... probably collapsed so there replacing my uni (supplyed) and the yoke.. Its going in again tomorrow morning to have the bush in the back of the box done. Then it should be sweet.. ill let yas know

Reasonably serious? Would have thought something major would have had to happen to cause that much wear? Should be no vibrations from now on but!

a broken gearbox mount can also knock around, my old xe did it.
