is there any way to find out what cam is is my car ,since i bought the car its allways had a lumpy sound from the exhaust and the idle aint that good either ,everything has been replaced .im not complaining obout the exhaust just want to know if the cams standard or not.

you could pull the rocker cover off and measure valve lift wit a dial indicator.
Or pull the cam out. Aftermarket cams are usually stamped with a profile number. If there are extra shims in the rocker arms you know its reground aftermarket (but not which one). Could also put it on a dyno and see how many rwkw its pulling. that will give an indication of the cam size.

i had the rocker cover off a couple of days ago just put on ef rocker gear was looking at the cam but it just looks like a cam is the numbers stamped in a certain place .

Look on the cam, If its a EF it should have 94AB

if you put ef rocker gear on it and didn't put extra shims in and it working properly, that rules out it being a regrind |
