Hi i have just inherited some slotted DBA front rotors for my NC Fairlane. my question is, do the slots lean forward or backwards when installing the discs on the car. I don't want to put them on the wrong sides...

IIRC the slots should face clockwise on the passenger side, anticlockwise on the drivers side

Thanks for your help everybody. I can now put them on the car the right way around, which will be clockwise, or is that anti-clockwise?? (lol)

me and interceptor were chattign last nite...
the idea of the slots is to sweep the pad face to prevent dust, gas and de glaze the pad face. the AU T series ( same as ba xr6 turbo )had 2 eliptical slots through the brake disc in theroy you can fit them either way and they should still do the same job. i have actually tried this on my a few yrs back yes the brakes still worked but i did notice a marginally decrease in brake performance compared to the slots in the pic above... the backwarsd slots still were better than none at all
