G'day
Here in vic you can black out the side and back windows of the luggage compartment. On sedans no can do. The idea is that a wagon is no different to a panel van and vans in general when it comes to the luggage compartment. I asked the question when i had my wagon done 3 years ago. I ended up with 5% becasue otherwise you can see out the back window. If you do black the windows out there are requirements for enlarging the side mirrors. Cheers

hehehe, cheap option? i used to have a wagon and just threw a black sheet over the box. covered them to invisiblue plus my tint. good thing is, its cheap, easily removable for show/demo etc and doesnt consume any boot space

what i done for my wagon was make sure all wires are hidden. hide the amp behide the sub. bolt the amp into the back seat but make sure you bolt it into the metal bit of the back seat as it would be harder to steal. then bolted the sub box to the floor or sercuity and safety reason. make sure the sub box is dark colour so it will be harder to see.

That would be cool, a fake tool box stereo build. Definatley some potential there for a nice and unique install...
