For my EF 6cyl

- Currently have Low springs + Monroe GT shocks
- Want to put SL's in front end but might damage bodykit
- Need something that sits half way between Lows-SL's

So, What If...I put King SL's in the front end for an 8cyl car, into my 6cyl car?
Would this sit me a little higher than the 6cyl SL's?

~ Matt

In therory that should work... I cant remember the brand but there is a Spring company that can fabricate springs to the exact height that you want, may cost more but if thats what you want..

Yeah I'll have to do some ringing around.
Paying the extra for custom springs I'm not really interested in doing.

Pedder's lowered suspension setup tends to fall somewhere between King 'lows' and 'superlows'... Thats if you wanted to use pedders gear though.

Pedders are King Springs rebadged (so the story goes).
When you say suspension setup do you mean shocks aswell tom?

What do others think on the theory??? :?:

I was only talking springs. From what I have seen an EF/EL with Pedders Sports Ryder springs sit a bit lower than my car on King 'lows' but not as low as an EF/EL on King 'superlows'. I've only had the lows so I can't say from experience on my own car, but this is what I have seen on a few examples.

Lovells tend to be different again, the superlows tend to sit lower than king superlows, but not sure on just lows.

I didn't know Pedders were Kings rebadged?

Pedders are the same as the supercheap gabriel shocks, The "red Ryder" its the same as pedders "sports Ryder"

And yes, I used to know Mark Pedder very well, He setup Pedders extreme in my R31 for track use , (sponsed of course!)
